Descending is harder for me then ascending on guitar... HELP!?
For example, (E - 5 7 9) (A - 5 7 9) (D - 6 7 9) (G - 6 7 9) (B - 7 9 10) (e - 7 9 10) (e - 10 9 7)(B - 10 9 7) (G - 6 7 9).... and so on back up... When I shred, I can ascend pretty quick, but when it's time to go back and descend (up toward the low E string), I mess up terribly (like I hesitate and don't know what to do). Basically, descending is harder for me than ascending... What can I do so that my ascending improves and becomes as good as my descending (or better)? Are there any exercises or videos... anything to help improve descending?
