Why is the mainstream media ignoring Climategate that which proves that climate science is a fraud?

Because the real issue behind "global warming" is empowering governmental control over the lives of citizens. The mainstream media strongly supports this, so of course they are going to ignore anything that would detract from the goal they hope to achieve.
