My new cat isn't tame.. help!?

When I got my two kittens they were just on the brink of becoming ferel. Would NEVER come out from under the dresser, and if they did they would hide somewhere else. With time my cats eventually started coming out, and before long they were the most loving cats in the whole world. They are such cuddlers now, and follow me all over the house.
