To conserve a ps3 sixaxis controller battery life should i let the controller battery run out or keep charging

I believe the controller is li-ion battery so you should drain it each time before recharging. Some believe overcharging will damage the charging capacity of li-ions. Also take note, that ur ps3 controller batt will lose its charge over time, so maybe in 3 yrs times u will have to charge everyday.
